There are many aspects we have to consider in terms of having a healthier lifestyle. It is important to be mindful of the connection of our mind, spirit and body.
How to take care of your body?
You may have heard we are what we eat. This means that our diet affects our body and emotion directly or indirectly. We all know that we love to eat delicious food. Have we ever read the nutritional label on the food package? Have we thought of what the food is going to be once they are inside our bodies? Have we thought of what kind of nutrients does your meal provide to your body?
Every day, our body needs sufficient amount of protein, mixed vitamins, omega, and smaller amount of other nutrients. When we don't get a balanced nutrients from the food we eat, over the time, our bodies will start to manifest some subtle symptoms such as headache, mood swings, muscle spasms, PMS (for women), and the list goes on and on. When you explain to primary care physicians. He or she may not be able to diagnosis what is wrong with you with the general blood work. That is when people find alternative healthcare seems to help to relieve your symptoms and help you feel better. But you also notice you seem to have to keep up with the weekly session with your alternative healthcare providers. This could be avoided by taking an ownership of your own health, and start from adopting a healthier lifestyle.
