As soon as I got home, I purchased a set of enema to experiment on it. In the past few months with my personal experience, I found doing enema does have a lot of positive effect on our bodies. I love it because I felt great afterwards. I definitely think it helps with my weight loss as well. As I mentioned in my previous post, I weighted 142 pounds in the beginning of the year. I just weighted again this morning, and I'm down to 124 pounds. I still eat more than many guys. Of course, I am on a relatively healthy vegetarian diet. However, the major concern of enema is possible infection if you don’t sanitize it properly.
The main purpose of doing enema is to gently flush out the colon. It works great if you suffer with constipation, or irregular bowel movements. It also helps for fatigue, headaches, and backaches. Some of the literatures say certain types of enema helps to enhance the detoxification of liver as well.
Ideally, you need to hold the mixed water inside for at least 10 - 15 minutes. But sometimes, you just cannot hold it. it is alright. Be cautious not to put too much of the substance into the water, because you may have to rush on the toilet few minutes after the enema. Then you ended up sitting on the toilet for half hour. Trust me when that happens, you won't be happy although you still feel great afterwards.
There are various types of enema:
- Small amount of baking soda, or apple cider vinegar mixed with warm water filled half of the enema bag – great for constipation, irregular bowel movement
- Coffee enemas: mix 1 tea spoon of enema coffee (special coffee for enemas) with two cups of water boiled, then let it cool down to warm or the room temperature. – great for detoxification. As toxins from food or environment built up in our bodies, it puts a great stress upon the liver. The coffee enemas increase liver filtering, and aiding the liver’s ability to remove serous toxins from the bloodstream.
The best way to find out if it is beneficial or not is to try it out yourself.
